Netscape & email conflicts

email problems with netscape 7.2

I have both Netscape 6.0 series and Netscape 7.0 series on my laptop. My troubles began after downloading 7.2, so I went back to using the older 6. version. A few minutes ago I was checking the mail service in 7.1 and it was okay. Then I went to the older 6. version and checked there. I get nothing except the header - addresses and subject line.

Netscape specifically says you can have more than one version of its browser on the same drive without causing any conflicts between the different versions. I don't have any other browsers on my system except NetScape and I have four versions of that browser installed. Is anybody experiencing any kind of problems with their email on NetScape, or should I uninstall all but one version of NetScape?

I ran into something similar and I just formed a habit of only accessing the mail on the same version all the time. I can't deal with untangling that kind of mess - it feels like a total blackhole for my time.
