new Firefox broke my javascript...

works fine in IE 5, Safari 2.0 and USED to work fine in Firefox UNTIL I did the little "update" today to 1.0.4.

its a floating popup window 640x480 (or whatever size you want) that you get when you click on the thumbnail.

should I post the code? I copied and pasted it from somewhere's else a couple years ago and it has worked fine....until today.

If the code is layed out normally (not compressed) and not horrendously long you may as well post it. However, if it is failing completely, the chances are that it is generating an error. If you go to the Tools menu and open a Javascript Console the error will be displayed. You may then be able to fix it yourself.

Umm, a little late to be upgrading to 1.0.4? 1.0.7 is out and 1.5 is just around the corner!

Download the beta which includes incremental updates...hmm, I think you'll have to download the nightly build though...

Download the win32.exe and test out your JavaScript with that.

Reason being? First off Firefox users will all be upgrading to newer versions. Firefox has been made smart enough to understand updates are going to be frequent so a new feature includes incremental updates. Some updates are sized smaller then actual extensions! Great for those who need a patch but are on dialup.

Test your script out with this new version. If it doesn't work please post it and the error you're getting with Firefox.

hmm.. something must have been wrong with my "updated" version of 1.0.4 because 1.0.7 made everything "normal" again.

Hey, I just clicked on the "update" thingie yesterday and took what it gave me. What do I know?
