Why the script can't demonstrate its effect on the webhosting while it can on local pc.

<script>
$(document).ready(function() {var _0x4828=["\x73\x6C\x6F\x77","\x72\x65\x6D\x6F\x76\x65","\x2E\x70\x72\x65\x41\x44","\x66\x61\x64\x65\x49\x6E","\x23\x53\x48\x4F\x57","\x66\x61\x64\x65\x4F\x75\x74","\x68\x74\x6D\x6C","\x23\x73\x65\x63\x6F\x6E\x64\x73","\x66\x61\x73\x74"];function endCountdown(){$(_0x4828[2])[_0x4828[5]](_0x4828[0],function (){$(_0x4828[2])[_0x4828[1]]();$(_0x4828[4])[_0x4828[3]](_0x4828[0]);} );} ;function handleTimer(){if(count===0){clearInterval(timer);endCountdown();} else {$(_0x4828[7])[_0x4828[6]](count);count--;$(_0x4828[4])[_0x4828[5]](_0x4828[8]);} ;} ;
var timer=setInterval(function (){handleTimer(count);} ,1000);
var count = '10';
});
</script>

welcome to WebmasterWorld, uronstone!

try using absolute urls (starting with http://) instead of relative urls.

you might also try something like the Live HTTP Headers add-on for firefox to see what HTTP Requests are being made for that page and what the localhost vs webhosting HTTP Responses are.
