Hello all,

I've posted this in HTML but I felt that it might be better here.

I have been looking vigilantly for a piece of open source software that would allow me to create my own Web 2.0 portal, using all the latest Ajax technologies that are out at the moment.

If you don't know exactly what I mean, here are a few samples:

[google.com...]
[start.com...]
[netvibes.com...]

They are all my target goal for my project. I would like to create a portal for hunting and fishing feeds (that I'd probably farm myself from other sites, but that's besides the point). I don't have the time to create such a portal from scratch.

Does anybody know of a similar type of portal software whose source code is available for use? Thanks all.

MochiKit [mochikit.org...] is exactly what you want and it doesn't do any Object.prototype hacks like [script.aculo.us...] (but maybe you want to look at that one too).

[disclaimer : I do not in any way endorse the use of of *buzz word* plus *version number* to describe something that has been around since Moz 1.0 / IE5 ... just MHO]
