I have been trying to use this script:

[dynamicdrive.com...]

But am having problems placing where i want it to go, i think this might be because it uses layers my knowledge is limited so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

If there is a simpler way to script this in javascript that would be great!

Thanks

Adam

No promises mind, but if you were a little more specific about the help that you need....

If there is a simpler way to script this...

PPK has an interesting angle on this:

Depending what you want scrolled, you can use the <marquee> option. There are options for up down, alternate etc

You may not even need a java script for what you are trying to do.

There are two reasons that those demos don't apply.

1) Adzzzz wanted content scrolling that the user can control.
2) They don't work in Firefox.
