Hi,

I'm going to do my best to describe what we are looking for in hopes that someone can point us in the right direction. Weve searched everywhere and having no luck!

We have an information based website and on about 1/4 of it, we have a store that we are in affiliation with another company. We have all the products up, if someone adds an item to the cart, it goes to the other company. They have the ability to come back to our site from the cart but with so many stores out there, you don't need to leave the page anymore once you've added an item. You can keep shopping and later visit the cart.

We are looking for something like a widget that would handle the front end. Meaning, if someone adds an item to the cart, it would send it off to the cart WITHOUT leaving our site. Or at least store all the items in a cart local side (our site) and then once they are done shopping our site, they can click a checkout button and then go to the cart offsite.

We can't seem to find a script that would help us do this. Everything seems designed for the full ecommerce where we would be the store and the cart.

If anyone has any ideas to point us in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. We've searched high and low.

Thank you in advance,
Kris

I would say that a lot of this will depend on what functions and facilities this "other company" that does the cart for you has on what you can do.

If they can only accept one item at a time the way you currently have it then there won't be anything you can do.

Try asking them, they must have scripts etc in place for this that you can use.
