AJAX on iPad?

This is going to sound like a dumb question but did some searching and couldn't find a definitive answer.

Does AJAX work on the iPad?

Not having one I don't know, and I've heard some people mention certain AJAX based apps don't function on the iPad.

Yes, it does and it works well.

If you do searching for Javascript + httpheader requests on Safari mobile you will get more info.

Basically it does everything normal safari does... except for Flash and Java.
