Is Java supported on the Iphone?

I don't usually touch Java, but a client wants to have a lightbox script on his site, but he also wants his site to be viewable on an Iphone. Also, is Java supported on other phone OS's?

Java Applets: NO

Not on iPhone or Android AFAIK.
