Smarty and javascript

Hi,

I want to include <fb:comments> facebook api in smarty template.

But it renders the above line to <comments></comments>

So i decided to use javascript and it is now working in firefox. But however in internet explore it is not wroking.

Is there any way to do ?

Yes. It is not smarty problem however. It is php problem
