Other Users Online Feature

Hello Everyone.

I inherited a couple of sites, both sites have a script that calculates the number of other users online but niether seems to do it well. Does anyone know if there is a script out there that will correctly do this. I have tried a couple but haven't had any luck.

I am not sure this would really be a javascript question.

Is it for a forum? If so, what forum software are you running?
