Context Menu

New take on "disabling right click" for images?

I know this can still be worked around, but does JS have any access specifically to context menus in browsers?

I know you can disable the entire context menu in IE, not FF, but not seeing anything deeper than that. Specifically, wondering if you can you disable the sub menus on the context menu, such as "Save Image As..." without killing the whole menu.

Most of what I find are grow-your-own's, and I know it can all be overidden, but just an idea I'm kicking around . . .

None that I'm aware of. :(

You can disable it, or provide completely alternate behavior, but there's no way to change specific items the browser will include in the menu.
