Simple Drop Down Index Neede

I have a site with over 300 pages... what I need is a javascript code for a simple drop down menu that that expands down NOT across with about 6 headers to that I group the index into topics but one that will allow me to change the font size and back ground color to my exiting color scheme that I have drop into my shared left hand border and update ....

I have got my head around "page include" in FrontPage 2003 so maybe it would be better to load the drop down menu code into that "page include" as it affords me an exact place on the shared border page...

I have tried several free drop down menus however, I can't seem to get any of them to work... so please be gentle with detailed instructions what files and codes I need to create and where to and how to... thanks,

thanks... found one that works very well indeed without much javascript learning to do...
