I am unfamiliar with javascript and looking for a little help. There is a flaw in my tracking software right now. If there are 2+ offers on a page, it only tracks the first click through to the first link they click on. I can't see the actual amount of clicks if a visitor clicks more then 1 offer at a time per visit. \

A short term javascript fix was suggested to me by a friend. I could record the subid from the url on each click...1 txt file or 1 mysql db for each offer (in this case 2) and timestamp the clicks using the onClick function and then redirect the user to the appropriate link after the subid has been recorded. This way at the end of the day I can at least see how many users actually clicked on more than 1 link. Can someone give me a hand with this? I can pay you if you want, just let me know.

It sounds like you want to track a user after they've left your site once, then come back to a cached page and made a second click?

It seems like your tracking script shouldn't have a problem with such a scenario... How is it setup to track now?

I can pay

Although most of us here do this type of work professionally, our time spent while on WebmasterWorld is a volunteer effort. Thanks though. :)
