What percent of users have javascript disabled? And what kind of users would this be, mostly techies and the paranoid? Are most of these people smart of enough to enable it if perhaps say they were on an ecommerce site and realized the site would not allow checkout without javascript enabled? My ecommerce site used javascript and more specifically AJAX for some drop-down navigation and throughout the checkout process. I'm wondering if I'm losing any orders due to this (we do have an 800# they could call to let us the know the website isn't working for them, but we only get such calls from people who don't realize that once they "check their cart" they need to "check out" to actually make the order. Another thing - anyone recommend a good log reader that's easy to use? Possibly a web based one like webalizer that's more detailed - like a Google Analytics, just not Google or remotely hosted that can slow down my site. I know there's Urchin, but I want something that is a log reader in addition to javascript tracking so I can get a more accurate picture plus to be able to see exactly what percent of people have javascript disabled.
Thanks in advance friends!
