Rental property availability calendar required - simple one.

Commercial ones have too many features.

For my property that I rent out as a holiday house on my website I would like a calendar that shows 'booked dates' in a different color. The calendar should show current month but can be navigatible (new word I think :)) to other months.

I'm not sure how the calendar knows which dates are booked.

The commercial ones have many features I do not need and are usually linked to databases stored on 3rd. party servers.

What's your platform? (OS, webserver, server side script, DB, etc...?)

I'm assuming you have a database that has these dates already stored?

thanks in advance.

I can upload to my web server anything - the dates are on my DB and I can format to anything. I can program but my JS is weak.

"Dateblocker" seems to maintain dates via web and store on their server. Also seems to show 6 months continuously. I just want 1 month at a time due to space constraints.

I can 'manipulate' the JS script on my PC before uploading to web server.

A while back, I did a pop-up calendar which might be of use to you. It starts with the current month and allows the visitor to page forward and backward one month or year at a time. It shows available and black-out dates and allows the visitor to click on any available date; this then fills in a text field in the main web page.

It's actually in use on an example form at my site, but the rules of this forum do allow me to say where it is even though it is just an example and nothing is sold anywhere at the site. :-(

Maybe you only need the calendar, so we could probably do something about that. Sticky-message me if you're interested.
