Java Pic Help

Not really a design question but thought I would pick the brains of our java experts here.

At my firehouse when viewing a web site of fire incidents the thumbnails do not appear and when clicking on them the same thing. An example of one of these pages is at http://www.example.com/foo/ but if I go to another computer in the firehouse it works fine. I updated the java version on the pc in question and it still did not work.

For some reason the link to each of the photos on the affected computer is directing to...
http://www.example.com/../../images/IMAGE.JPG so of course it comes up with a broken image. But when I go to one of the other computers the link for each photo is pointing to the correct location of http://www.example.com/images/IMAGE.JPG (the image is loading fine because it does not have the extra ../..)

Any idea why this is happening on the one PC? Both computers are using Internet Explorer and as a fix I attempted to update the java but it didnt work.

Are you talking about Java, or JavaScript? The two are completely unrelated.

I noticed that you were using a version of lightbox. If it's working except on 1 computer the only thing I can think of is the JavaScript is disabled for that browser. Check your settings.
