Learning ajax with PHP

Hello All

I am new here and I hope I will find some help here. I am good at php and going to learn AJAX. Which book do you suggest me to read for it? Is there any online sources available for this?

I own one book "AJAX in Action" which isn't that bad. There are numerous resources available online, however, that you might want to take a look at first. A great place to start is the following tutorial: [news.php.net...] which should get you off the ground.

Also, a good resource if you're switching from PHP to JS is the PHP.JS library [kevin.vanzonneveld.net]. It's free and has more than a hundred ported PHP functions to JS, so it's easier to switch (and you don't have to learn a lot of new syntax, though it's good to eventually of course).
