Site-wide link changing software

Can a script change all the links in a page based on point of entry?

I remember reading about a software/script that will change all the links on your site based on who sends you traffic. Does anyone know the name of that software/script?

This is how the software works:

1. I own me.com and have lots of netflix banners with my affiliate code in them.

2. You own you.com and you have a link to me.com.

3. If someone enters my site via yours, all (or selected) netflix banners will display your affiliate code. I allow this because I want the traffic and I want to reward people for linking to me.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

This is possible in (client-side) Javascript, but if you have access to any server scripting, you should definitely go with that instead.
