Does anyone know of any really good, comprehensive Javascript books? I own a few that I bought while attending college, but I would really like to own one that describes every aspect of the language. At least, as detailed as possible. Preferably not a book full of only examples, but one that explains the language.

JavaScript The Definitive Guide is a must have.

Agreed. For a long time it really was considered The definitive Guide.

..but watch out for earlier editions. I didn't get round to looking at one until the 4th Edition. That's where I found out why everyone was harbouring odd misconceptions about Javascript inheritance - because they were all there, in The Definitive Guide!
