Hi guys,

Just a quick question.

I'm about to use some collapsable div's with javascript on a new page. I was just wondering whether it will hurt any potential seo. I've read about a little bit and all seem to say it doesnt and i can't see any way that it would.

Just wanted to be 100% sure!

Thanks!

Since search engines ignore JavaScript, as long as your page is configured with all of your divs expanded when JavaScript is disabled, then this shouldn't be a problem. I can't give you a 100% assurance, but my understanding is that as long as the content is still accessible when JavaScript is disabled, then you should be fine.

This implementation is fine El_Matador. We use it on multiple sites with success. It is a good search engine friendly alternative for certain things that are typically done in Flash or Ajax.
