looking for free java slideshow code

lots of them out there - anybody have a favorite?

nothing fancy - just fade either gifs or jpgs - must be able to control the speed/duration - nothing cute like little squares etc.

if you search java slideshow, about a zillion of them come up (some not really free) - i tried a couple - one crashed ff...

can anyone recommend a solid one?
