New Firefox version not behaving with Javascript

onblur events not working properly with new Fireforx

I noticed something this morning while running QA on our site:

We have an onclick event that opens a larger photo of a product, resizes the window to fit the image and has an onblur event to close it if they click on something else or attempt to right click the image to save it.

It has been working perfectly in all browsers until today.

Unfortunately now it pops open and immediately closes without any clicking ... just opens then immediately closes.

Version of firefox
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.10) Gecko/20070216 Firefox/1.5.0.10
