Japanese text within javascript popups

Hello

Is there a way that i can display japanese text within a javascript alert message? I tried copying and pasting
the japanese text, but the display was garbled. Please could you tell me what i should be doing to display this
text correctly?

unless clients PC is specified in japaneese language...
I think you will have to go for a showmodalDialogue.
