Any way to make an image appear in grayscale in firefox?
I use this:

progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(grayScale=1)

... but this only works for IE!

Yes. Make the image greyscale in PhotoShop ;)

Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear ... but filters are IE proprietary.

I know but you can change opacity and stuff in firefox so I just assumed you could make it grayscale. Ah well, thanks for clearing that up :-)

Maybe there is some function library that you can download for free on the web. Try the js sites.
