Live Registration Form

I know there is a type of a registration form where users can see if the username they want is free (live checking while typing). Is there a script that is already built for doing that? I don't know any programming..

Basically, I'm using Google apps for your domain and I need to automize the registration process a bit. Now they have to send me an email with the desired username, and if it's available I register it. It would be better if they can check the availability themselves.

Assuming you are in control of the registration side, you could always set up an AJAX thing which queries the server for availability.
