Preload MP3?

Looking for the best way to preload 2 MP3 files prior to the user clicking on <a> link to play the file with their browser's media player. Can this be done similiar to preloading image files with JavaScript? Thanks.

Hi,

I need to prelaod image before the actual image is being loaded. My page is divided into four quadrants and in each quadrant iam having a php file. Before loading the file i need to display an preloading image. The loading should occur independently, meaning there will be an loading image being displayed and on the other hand the actual content will be displayed in the other quadrant.
I need to do this via ajax. As i cannot do it in javascript.I dont want to use settimeout function. If you can help me, i will be very happy indeed.

Hey Janakiraman, I know that your problem is similar to Keyplyr's problem, that is preloading stuff using javascript.

Nonetheless you have already started a thread about your specific problem at [webmasterworld.com...]

Starting multiple threads with same copied/pasted content is not very friendly for forum's users and many will dislike it :)
