Hi,

I heard that only ie and mozilla support ajax. Does that mean safari and opera people cant use an ajax app?

If so, dont you think it is too early to be using ajax? I mean, ajax is cool and will be a great technology of the future but for the present day, is there not enough browser support for it to be used successfuly?

Thanks for any opinions.

Are you sure about that? I've got some test AJAX stuff out there that people are using with Opera and Safari on the Mac and so far no-one has reported it not working.

Thanks,

i remember reading somewhere that opera and safari dont have alot of support for xmlhttp.

Maybe that was in the past?

I'll look into it :)

As far as i can tell, microsofts ATLAS supports opera ect.

See [operawiki.info...]
There is support for XMLHttpRequest since Safari 1.2, and Opera 7.6.

The main reason why it's too early for AJAX for me is that it's really seriously difficult to make it accessible.
