javascript:void (0)

I am having trouble with my javascript...I would appreciate any help

Something is wrong with my javascript. Whenever I try to get in a game (video game on a website), I will click on the link, and nothing happens...absolutely nothing. On the bottom it says javascript:void(0) or somethin like that, and I need some help fixing this problem. I am not the best with javascripts. If anyone couldn't understand what I meant, let me know, or give me some help with my problem. THANKS

Post the copy of shortcut.

Move mouse over the link, right click mouse, select "copy shortcut";

paste the shortcut in your reply.

I enter my username and password..then click login, and it does nothing. Also, if i click on play now it does nothing. again this is on a Windows 98 and at the bottom of the page or bored...im not sure what its called...it said javascript:void (0) if it helps. thanks

I'm guessing that you have a pop-up blocker on. Have you installed a pop-up blocker (or someone else that has/had access to your computer)? Some blockers let you specify which websites not to block.

No, I don't have any pop-up blocker on that I know of. I don't know how to fix this problem, and I'd like to because it is not allowing me to access stuff that I was allowed to at one point. My javascript is enabled, and I don't know what the problem is.

did you install SP2?

You may installed google/msn/yahoo toolbar; or windows Service patch 2. All could block popups.

I had a Yahoo toolbar that I didn't even know about, and deleted it. That still did nothing. Also, I tried getting on to the game from Mozilla Internet Server, and the screen that was supposed to pop-up on Internet Explorer poped-up on Mozilla. By the way, this game is made for Internet Explorer I believe.
