JavaScript editor?

I would like to make a minor modification to a simple Java script code on my webserver.

I opened the file in notebook and it was mostly non-alpha characters.

What should I open this file with to edit?

WordPad usually does a better job reading strange characters.

start > Programs > Accessories > WordPad
