Hi,

After a disastrous week of my host pulling my sites because they're quite server intensive amd many a late night moving all my sites to a new host im back to read up at WebmasterWorld.

But before I do.. a question for anyone out that that may have an answer.

For months iv been using?referrer= in my URLs from affiliates and suchlike, this is then put into a session variable, but since I changed to my new host this has been sporatic to say the least, I did a test and it worked, but most of these arn't coming all the way to the checkout.

Any ideas would be welcome?

It's almost definitely a server side issue and not an HTML or Browsers issue. SOunds nasty if it's one of those things that happens just some of the time.

If your host has no help to offer (I'd turn their first) you'll probably need to do a lot of tests from different computers and see what happens in the database and the server logs.

Hi,

My thoughts exactly, I gave them a call yesterday and they said they're investigating, so fingers crossed.
