Refresh any page - browser loads the Home Page

Hi, I'm sure you guys n' gals have heard it all before....but, I need help. I'm playing around with my dads image library, I'm happy with the content and layout, except whenever I refresh (or F5) it redirects me to the home page agin (index.htm)from anywhere within the website. Any ideas anyone? Really struggling with this and would really appreciate somesone's help.

My first guess might be that the site is designed in a frameset?

yes, this is right....the whole site is based on frames.......apologies for my lack of knowledge but unsure why this would present a problem......really hope I don't have to start again. :-(

[webmasterworld.com ] = refreshing a certain page in a frameset (WebmasterWorld.com)

You've discovered reason #1 to hate frames. :-D

When you refresh the page, THIS is what it refreshes to. You are better off creating a site template that contains the elements you would normally put in those side-top-bottom-wherever frames, the ndrop the content in the "main" area.
