Let's agree that ergophobe has his plusses. When I'm bored I'll peek in on his thread to observe the beauty of one of the worlds most critical minds at work. But is ergophobe, as the name implies, actually just afraid of something that really works well? Will he do anything to deny the existence of a highly usable browser?

Or is there another explanation... Is ergophobe's keyboard actually broken? Did his children perhaps switch the c and v keycaps?

Or, as some have suggested, is it just Windows? Is he creating issues to avoid confronting the deeper underlying problems at play in his computer? Would his issues disapear if he browsed using the nimble Epiphany on a freshly compiled 2.6 kernel in Gnome 2.8?

Just kidding. Had to do something while waiting for my ride home

For anyone not understanding this post (now or in the future) it's some good natured ribbing about ergophobe's currently active thread:

Whew! I'm relieved to find out that I have my plusses!

I suppose I deserved that with the title I chose. I was expecting that most responses to the thread I started would run along these lines and was surprised to find others willing to "out" themselves as discontented FF users.

I hope that the Mozilla development team finds me annoying too. Maybe it will lead to a better, stabler browser.

The thought has crossed my mind. You surely don't want me to get started on my list of Windows annoyances.

The last time I deleted Windows never to use it again, I just couldn't make it go because of issues collaborating with colleagues. More and more, though, with OpenOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, GIMP and others, I'm getting to the point where it won't be a serious issue and lately I've been mulling the idea over once again.
