Ahoy, I am not able to open my site because Norton has added a script to it because my script has the "onLoad" function. I am using a body centering script which I would like to continue using. Any thoughts on how to get around the Norton? Or do I have to redesign using another scheme?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], TTighe.

It's best overall to make sure you are not dependant on Javascript to display your page correctly. The problem with NIS is that it uses a transparent proxy to insert its own Javascript in the head section of every page. However, it is particularly ham-fisted in the way it does so, and it breaks quite a few pages.

There are a couple of recent threads relating to the joy of NIS. Try this one in particular:

It will give you some good pointers for geting around your particular problem.

Thanks for the input. I will try to disable the Norton using the text provided. Being new to this, I am taking an Edisonian Approach toward getting the final product on the web. Tom
