IE5.01 running on Windows 98SE. The default MSN homepage is consistently locking up the browser. Has anyone else got a similar configuration that they can confirm this with?

Hey jetboy

There is quite a bit of scripting on that page that could well be causing IE5.01 to crash. A lot of sites have stopped testing or supporting IE versions less than 5.5 which could be the case here.

I run IE5.00.2614.3500 on win98se for testing purposes. Went to msn and clicked around site without problem beyond very slow loading due page structure and being on dialup.
