When accessing Outlook Express I get the following error message: "SymRealWinOpen is undefined". I have tried to eliminate with Symantec antivirus, AVG antivirus, Spybot Search and Destroy, AdAwareSEpersonal,Spyware Blaster,DSO2 and TweakNowReg. I also tried disabling all popup blockers. I uninstalled Netscape 7.2 and Mozilla firefox, leaving only Internet Explorer 6. I have SP2 loaded.
I originally had dialup with no problem. The error showed up about a week after I changed over to BellSouth DSL Lite.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this?

The "Sym" part of SymRealWinOpen is the clue - it's a proprietary Symantec function. So the issue is not with your browser, or Outlook, it's with the way you Internet Security is interacting with your new ISP.

You may need to reinstall your Symantec products to fix - can't say for sure. I'd suggest their tech support is the way to go.

I disabled Symantec antivirus and no more script error. Thank you so much for leading me to a solution to a really aggravating problem.
Have a great day.

Oh No! I jumped the gun. Error is back on restart and then opening Outlook Express. Any more suggestions?

Call Symantec tech support - it's their code and I'll bet this is an already known problem to them. Even if it isn't, that's the place to turn.

Thank you for the advice to contact Symantec. I have done so and will let you know what they say.
