Disable maximizing function frm the pop up window

how to disable maximizing function from the pop window , i have tried both the ways through behaviours in DreaMweaver(resizable=no) and through winow.open()(maximise=no) function but on some machines the maximising option hide and some machines it shows so what is the method to remove it globally from the pop up window

The answer is probably not what you are hoping for - as you have already discovered, there is no way to do disable the maximizing function on all systems. In fact, on some browsers (Opera is an example) even resizing cannot be turned off, and a window can still be dragged into a larger or smaller size even though the variables string for window.open() says [resizable=no]

The concept that browser builders are following here is that users want, and in some cases need, control of these basic browser functions an will not put them under the control of the web page's author.
