How to save and display code

I want to save and display my code, kind of like DW Snippets but permanently. I used DW Snippets then had to reload, there gone. My work around was putting the code in a form text box. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas that worked as well.

Hello dev880, and welcome to the forums.

I sometimes create small text files with important snippets for a project - with names like "codeinformSNPT.txt

I even save them in the folder online where I can find them when I need them a year from now - no matter what happens on my local system.
