Almost every website i know has his on little icon in the address bar just before the link its self how can i set my icon in my site?

This is called a favicon and is relatively straightforward to implement. There are a number of thread on the subject in this forum and a general web search using your favourite search engine will bring back a number of 'how to' tutorials.

In fact this thread [webmasterworld.com] on the very subject is active at the moment and deals with creating favicons.
