Need help with fixing error msg at startup - or delete script

This may not be the right place to post this question, but I get the above error box when XP starts up.
It started after I accepted a script from an online bookmark manager site, still operational, but not updated anymore AFAIK.

Once registered I was offered an option to accept a script that adds a link to my IE explorer 6 (XP SP1) favorites. When the link is selected, a popup window appears allowing me to drag and drop the current webpage URL I'm viewing, and automatically adds it to my online bookmarks list.
Before accepting this script MS warned me I was about to accept a potentially malicious script.
The script works well, but the error dialog box I get at startup is a bother.

I searched my computer for any files with the script name in the file, deleted the site cookie and bookmark, but error msg is still there.

I don't know anything about scripts, and don't know where to look to find it, much less modify it.

Since the script is actually useful, I would like to keep it, and just get rid of the windows error msg at startup. If that's not possible, then I would delete it to get rid of the error msg.

Welcome to the forums, gergever.

I suggest a trip through the Google results on MSScriptcontrol - you'll learn that this error can be caused by Adware and various exploits that are tried against your computer's security. My guess is that the script whose functionality you like has some not so nice hidden parts that you wouldn't like if you could really see what they are doing.

I just read a few of the sites returned on Google and there are several "solutions" that range from running an Adware detection application through turning off active scripting in the IE browser.
