Whenever I visit a site containing inline frames or iframes, the iframe tag is corrupted and replaced as follows:

Should be

<iframe src = "top.html"></iframe>

This is what I see in the source text:

<adv src = "top.html"></bug >

Just me or a common problem. It's not just my own pages but any site with <iframe>

My answer can only be a guess - but it's probably one of two things, and both of them would be particular to your computer.

1. It could be the result of ad-blocking software you have installed.
2. It could also be the result of AdWare that has invaded your computer.

There are many AdWare programs (free) that can search your system to see if it's #2. And if you know that you are using an ad blocker, try turning it off.

Whatever it is, if it changes EVERY iframe, regardless of dimensions, then that is some heavy handed software.
