From Netcraft [news.netcraft.com]
A new security hole in Internet Explorer exploit allows hackers to gain control of a user's computer when they click on a hyperlink, even while using a fully-patched version of IE6. An exploit using the technique, which employs a complex series of Javascript, VBScript and PHP code, has been published on the Web and is being discussed in several security mailing lists.

I read somewhere else that sites were using the exploit to install some nasty adware. Rumors are that it will be patched in the next Service Pack. Hope it comes earlier than that.

Everybody be careful out there.

Mods: if this was already posted, I missed it. Feel free to delete in that case.

I'm sure Microsoft is currently working on a Patch for it - which is the only reason I like them :)

Hopefully it comes out early before I get hacked though..

I read that they were thinking of patching this one before the standard release schedule. I guess it's pretty bad.
