I have read the debate regarding the mouseover menus...but I don't see any other way to present the massive amounts of info my site will have to present.

I've been playing with the dreamweaver mx behaviors and see how to create the mouseover (or pop-up) menu..but it seems to only be available with graphics...I can't seem to get it to work with text.
Does anyone know if/how to do mouseover menus with text instead of mousing over the graphic?

If so, how about mouse over within mouseover menus? Any help or links to help would be appreciated.
thanks

You mention that you have lots of data and have no way to present it except for mouse roll-overs. Don't take this the wrong way, but it seems that you are designing the site for you and not the end user.

I believe in Dreamweaver, you can make popup menus on any link. <a href="#">Text Here</a>.

In MX, just need to click anywhere in the link, click on the Tag menu on the left, go to behaviors, and click add behavior, and I believe the popup menu is in there.

Good luck,

HI futureknight

Do a "Google" for mouseover menus and you will get alot of results. I myself have had good results using "coolmenus" your can also find that by googling.

Another way more tricky way is to lok for a website with a menu system similar to what you want and the take a peak behind the curtain to see how their did it. That of course requires some html and perhaps javascript knowledge..

Hope this helps
