Using new menu script, how to move tables

Just downloaded from dynamicdrive.com, HV Menu v5.411, a javascript menu with submenus. It looks pretty nice. I'm putting the menu on the left side of the page with submenus that slide out to the side. The menu is not in a table. Most of my pages are either html code directly on the page or in tables. I know this should be easy but... how do I move my tables to position just to the right of the menu?

Hi AmyNY,

The easiest way I think would be to include the menu in your menu structure. I'm not familiar with this menu system so I'm not sure if this is even possible.

Your second option is to use some CSS to change the position of your main (container) table.

Thank you. I believe the menu is a graphic generated by javascript which overlays any tables and text that starts at the left margin. I think frames would be a solution but from what I've read here does not optimize well. I don't know what you mean by the menu structure. I don't know anything about css. Are there templates I might find to download that could work for me. Thanks again. Will start reading about css.
