Form fumblings between PC and Mac

I've got a form on my site that works fine in IE5+, Netscape, Mozilla and Opera on a PC but in IE5 for Mac, it doesn't appear on the page at all. It's one of two different forms on the same page, one a login box, one a search box. The search box is still fine in the Mac version.

Is this some common and known bug and is there a simple solution?
