I've looked at the source, but can't figure out how it's done. I don't want to do it on my sites - I hate it - but as an experienced surfer, I know I can use the arrow next to the Back button to get round it.
I'm just intrigued to know how it's done...

The Back Button on that page was not disabled for me either -- at least not when I go there directly.
My guess is that you arrived there from a differect URL, one redirected you in some way. So when you go "Back" one page, you just land on the redirect again and it sends you "Forward" to where you started.
By the way, I've removed that URL -- no reason for us to promote that particular site!
As I said, I certainly wouldn't use this trick, but I have noticed it a lot online (no, it wasn't a new window, edit_g), and I just wanted to fill in that litle bit of learning curve...

Re publishing URLs, I've just read the Terms of Usage and Conditions of Service and, discussing the content that can be posted, it says "No press releases, newsletters, web pages, or copyrighted content may be inserted into WebmasterWorld posts...A link to the content is acceptable and appropriate." This is fine.
How can you discuss Websites & pages if you can't direct people to them?
I'm happy to obey any rules but, if that is one, it seems illogical and (considering that links are one of the raisons d'être of the Internet) rather absurd.
The URL I posted is nothing to do with me, just an example of a site to illustrate what we were discussing here.
Sorry if I offended - I didn't mean to.
