IE caching files

I posted the other day about clearing the cache. Now I have the opposite problem. I want IE to cache my image files. Firebird does this fine.
Is there a meta tag or something to tell the browser to cache the page/images?

Caching behavior is a client-side setting, as it should be. There is no way for the server-side to force caching. However, the defult behavior (and therefore most visitor's) is to cache images.
