Internet Explorer's Online Support

The link in the Help menu takes me to my Intranet!

Why is it that the Online Support link in the I.E. Help menu takes me to my Intranet? I'm at a loss and I'm getting some jacked up links when searching "Internet Explorer" and "online support" in Google.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Could this be a registry setting or might it have to do with our proxy server?

If IE was installed or updated using the IEAK, you can specify where the online Support link goes. Was this a company install? If so, they should have linked it to the appropriate resource on the intranet to allow updates without connecting to MS.

Having said that, I don't know how to change the setting. However, all the standard version does AFAIK is connect to microsoft.com so you'd be best off just searching that site for the online help page.

Thanks so much. Our internal people set up our machines. The person who would have touched any Internet settings has left and didn't tell anyone else if he did touch them. I'll pass your advice along to the tech guy.
