I'm seeing a "FunWebProducts" description in my logs more and more these days - about 3% of page views have this tag.

I traced this - (massive detective work here) - to www.funwebproducts.com - and lots of "free" stuff.

One of the products is a popup blocker - ironic as their site attempts to popup blocked by mozilla.

I also found some blogs stating that

"It turned out that FunWebProducts is an operation of a company called IWon. Its software - a Web application - is essentially yet another piece of adware (often mistakenly called spyware although that is arguably a related subgenre)."

What do other webmasters know about this product - what percentages, friend or more corporate scumware.

3% of my traffic is very noticable - what could be happening to it - hijacked content, flyswat style links?

Tnx sem4u - I site searched with three words - not one ;)

I'd still be interested in knowing what todays state of play is.
