Desparate to get my webmail from home....

I need help! I just switched to BellSouth FastAccess DSL and I can web surf with no problems, EXCEPT that I cannot access either MSN Hotmail or Yahoo mail. Three tech support calls so far have not come up with a solution to the problem. With either Hotmail or Yahoo mail, I can log in and see my inbox, with the number of messages listed. When I click on 'inbox' the page never loads...it just times out after 3 minutes.

I'm using Westell 2100 modem, through a NetGear Wireless router -- no networking, just using it to avoid long cords.

I know the mail accounts work because I can get to them from work.

If your using a wireless router you are using networking. If you plug directly into the modem with a cable can you get there. That is the first thing to do. Can you log into any other site. Have you tried another computer at your house.

I am Having the same problem w/westell 2100 can not seem to get into new mail from yahoo? is there a setting that I need to change or enable we had to enable half life in order to get it to work but I do not see yahoo mail listed just yahoo messenger
