I build my websites in FP and for all its problems I get away with most things.
Ive stumbled across the fact that my sites dont have any DTD's at all because FP doesnt generate them. The FP help files dont discuss this topic so having checked the W3c site and read a few threads at WWW Im still left in a quandry about which DTD to add to my site.
Is there anyway you can identify which code you need from any resources? How do I know the example code provided is right for my site?
Does the absence of DTD have any impact on search engine optimization?
Just how serious is it to have no DTD within your webpages?
I need to sort it out and really would appreciate any advice.
